We have been so very fortunate to have Maximo form part of our breeding program.
Maximo is an outstanding sample of the breed. Even as a young colt, he has proven an honorable recipient of his lineage. Maximo is not less of what his name means – the most impressive, most glorious achievement, a place envied by many and cherished only by a few.
|
He is such a gentlemen in everything he does, moving with the assurance that comes from he who knows exactly how to show-off without falling into an excess.
His balanced conformation, with an exceptional neck, long, proportionate, with a head carried with caste and pride, with the necessary size and ideal characteristics.
His movements are attractively rhythmic, frankly driven, with great extension and elegance. His mane and tail are abundant and long. He is of a very dark color almost completely black, no white markings, proven to be an homozygous, which means he does not carry the red gene.
Maximo has an incredible temperament, always trying to please the ones he loves and with whom he has established an special link. He likes running freely in the corral, coming back from behind, resting his head over the shoulder of that special person, surrendering his complete trust. This is a trade-mark inherited from his grandsire on both sides, Teodoro who did just exactly the same and has been the only Spanish Horse that has ever reached in the United
States, the titles of National Champion, both in the American Association and Internationally.
Also, his sire Navarre GF, a dark black stallion, has obtained twice the National Championship in the United States and has been an undefeated owner of the title of "Multiple Class Best Movement", and epitome of the PRE, with a height of 16.3 hands.
We foresee a splendorous future for this soon-to- become "foundation stallion", knowing that he has been the outcome of a strict breeding program, which took over 18 years of hard work and dedication, in order to have a horse like Maximo come to life. |
